Wilmington, NC – The Wilmington Regional Association of REALTORS® (WRAR) and the North Carolina Association of REALTORS® (NCAR) proudly announce the re-election of REALTORS® Faye Brock of Century 21 Brock and Associates and Patrice Willetts of Network Real Estate as Directors during the 2010 NC REALTORS® Election.

Faye has been re-elected to serve as Region 2 Director for the NC Real Estate Educational Foundation, Inc. (NCREEF) where she will continue her work with NCAR to develop and fund worthy educational projects and programs for REALTORS®.

NCREEF functions as the “educational arm” for NCAR. Therefore, the organization is responsible for all NCAR educational programs which includes professional standards, mediation, and spokesperson training. According to their website, NCREEF is governed by a fifteen-member Board of Directors. These REALTORS®, chosen from and representing every region of North Carolina, are elected to serve for a period of three years.

Patrice has been re-elected to continue her service as an NAR Director providing critical representation on the national level for all REALTORS® in North Carolina. National director entitlement for state and local associations is determined by NAR’s Constitution. The number of director allocations is based on membership counts extracted from the National REALTORS® Database System. Patrice is one of four REALTORS® selected to represent North Carolina with this honor.

The results for the NC REALTORS® 2010 Election were announced during the opening session of the NC Association of REALTORS® 2009 Convention & Expo on September 27th held in Savannah, Georgia.

Faye Brock

It might be her strong work ethic, or her solid sense of integrity; perhaps it’s her vast knowledge of the area, or that genuine Southern charm. Whatever it is, one thing is for sure. When Faye Brock’s involved, you’re guaranteed she won’t stop until she’s made her mission a success. This strong sense of commitment has not only brought her to the top of her game in her real estate career, but has also earned her praise and respect from her community, family, peers and friends:

The ABC’s of Her Real Estate Credentials

A resident of Wilmington since 1969, Faye transitioned into a real estate career on January 1, 1982. Like everything she does, Faye plunged into her new work full-steam ahead, working immediately as a full-time realtor. Over the past twenty-five years, she has amassed every certification and honor available in her industry; the letters behind her name put a Harvard PhD. to shame: ABR, CRS, GRI, RRS and Broker. For those of you who don’t speak real estate, this means that she knows everything there is to know about the real estate industry: residential re-sale and new construction; lots and parcels of land; beach communities and more. For information about Faye’s educational training and industry affiliations see, Real Estate Resources

And if that doesn’t impress, consider this: Faye has been a Centrion with CENTURY 21 for the past twenty years. This means that she ranked in the top 1% nationwide in terms of real estate sales for twenty years in a row! In 1988, Faye was voted Salesperson of the Year by the Wilmington Regional Association of REALTORS™, an honor she is very proud of because of the recognition and acknowledgement from her local peers. Faye later became Director of this association for six years. In addition, Faye held the office of State President for the North Carolina Certified Residential Specialists (CRS) in 2005, and has been elected to a number of other offices on the local, state, regional, and national levels. Currently, she is Regional Vice-President, Region 6 (Ohio, Kentucky, and Michigan) of Certified Residential Specialists (CRS).

A Savvy Entrepreneur

Just seven years after becoming a real estate agent, Faye Brock opened her own CENTURY 21 agency with husband, Danny Brock: CENTURY 21 Brock & Associates. Since 1989, their company has grown to an office with eight full-time staff and thirty real estate agents.

Meet FayeNorth Carolina Know-How

A North Carolina native, Faye grew up on its Southeastern shores in the charming town of Southport. She is extremely knowledgeable about everything the area has to offer, and naturally connects her clients’ to area businesses, services, organizations. Concierge service may not be an official duty, but her delightful warmth and the real connection she makes with clients make it a natural extension of her work. One client relocating from up North raved: “Not only did Faye find our dream house; she recommended a vet, a landscaper, and a wallpaper hanger! It’s great to have recommendations you can trust, especially when you’re not from the area.”

Concern for Her Community

Faye Community

But that’s not the only way Faye Brock gives back to her community. She is an active contributor to Easter Seals United Cerebral Palsy; Century 21 Brock & Associates sponsors and organizes one of their largest annual fundraisers. She has also assisted with the Rotary Club Golf Tournament fundraiser since 1992. Homes 4 North Carolina is another charitable project that has captured Faye’s heart. She also worked with real estate group CRS to create Suitcases For Kids, a program that has received national accolades for providing new suitcases to foster children who must move frequently.

Fitness & FamilyFamily, Fitness and Fun Come First

And in her spare time? Yes, this Wonder Woman also has a life! Married to Danny Brock, (President Elect 2007 North Carolina Association of REALTORS™), they enjoy their four children and four grandchildren, Reagan, Taylor, Emory and Ethan. Faye also takes pleasure in reading, shopping, and bike riding, but it’s her daily 3.5 mile walk that she enjoys the most!

Now just reading this far may have left you exhausted, which leads us to the most special quality of Faye Brock. Despite a very full and demanding life, when you’re with this Steel Magnolia she makes you feel as if you are her sole concern. Faye places her undivided attention on her clients, getting to know them, listening carefully, and responding with a warmth and kindness that makes her feel less like a real estate agent and more like trusted friend. Perhaps that is the real secret to her success.....
